We’ll need some additional documents and medical records to review in order to better understand your case and medical history
There’s tough decisions to make with treatment: what to do with eggs or embryos if something happens, whether to test for certain diseases
To ensure you’re healthy enough to begin treatment, we’ll require certain tests, most of which you can do with us quickly and affordably
FDA-required blood panels to test both partners for certain infectious diseases and guide treatment:
Pre-IVF estimate of sperm concentration and quality and to ensure viability for fertilization
While these may be done elsewhere using insurance, PCP or OBGYNs often have long wait times (1-3 months) and are the greatest roadblock patients experience starting treatment.
These services are strongly recommended to be done together at Life IVF Center to save you time and frustration. Doing them all together with us is a discounted package price.
These are additional items to complete prior to IVF Treatment depending on patient concerns, previous medical history, and individual / family risk factors
This is an x-ray to screen for breast cancer, which could be affected by IVF medications and impact treatment

These tests are also important but may be performed later – if doing, they must be completed before the Embryo Transfer cycle but may be done after Egg Retrieval; however, many do them earlier for convenience
SIS uses ultrasound and fluid to evaluate the uterine cavity and its condition for patients hoping to carry a pregnancy; an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) is also an acceptable alternative if performed elsewhere
Testing the uterine lining to determine the best time during the cycle to transfer an embryo; these are often performed for patients who have previously had unsuccessful transfers of PGT-A tested embryos
