With an extensive background at renowned medical programs around the world, Dr. Wu has more than 35 years of medical experience in fertility and reproductive health. In addition to his role at 生命试管婴儿中心, Dr. Wu is a respected expert in the treatment of endometriosis, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, uterine fibroids, and In Vitro Fertilization.
Dr. Wu completed medical school at Taipei Medical University in 1978. Subsequently, he Pursued embryo research and received a Ph.D. degree at Philadelphia’s Hahnemann University affiliated with Drexel University’s College of Medicine.
Dr. Wu then left Philadelphia for his residency training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC from 1983 to 1987. He then completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1989.
Dr. Wu joined UCLA as a tenured faculty where he pursued reproductive and embryo research, teaching medical students and fellows, and provided medical care to infertility patients. During his tenure at UCLA, he served as the medical director of the Fertility Center for 15 years and is a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
